This little slice of heaven is famous for its sparkling river, uncrowded beaches, children’s playground, and the ever-popular historic Hotel Brunswick. Affectionately known as “Bruns” to locals, this unspoilt fishing village attracts visitors on day trips with its quality mix of cafés, restaurants, specialty shops and relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Despite the surrounding coastal development, Brunswick Heads has retained its traditional seaside village atmosphere. Timber bridges link the riverside town to a safe, quiet beach at the mouth of the Brunswick River that sweeps unbroken all the way to Byron Bay.
