Senior Stamp Duty Concessions
If you are thinking of downsizing but enjoy the independence of living in your own home the Concession for Senior Home Buyers may suit you! The NSW Government has announced its Senior’s initiative for brand new home purchasers.
Under the NSW Home Builders Bonus, the Senior Principal Place of Residence Duty Exemption means eligible people aged 55 years and older pay zero stamp duty for a new home or off the plan purchase up to the value of $600, 000.00 and vacant land purchase up to the value of $400,000.00.

Regional Relocation Grant
If you live in the City of Sydney & surrounding area and long for a quieter life, then moving to the beautiful hinterland of Byron Shire could be for you! The Regional Relocation (Home Buyers Grant) will operate for four years, commencing 1 July 2011.
The scheme will provide applicants with a one-off payment of $7,000 to assist them with the cost of relocating from their Metropolitan home to a regional home.
